Nana Boakye Dankwah Yiadom, a journalist with Luv FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group, and an alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has been selected as a Fellow for the 2025/2026 Africa Extractives Media Fellowship (AEMF).
Dankwah Yiadom , a graduate of KNUST’s Department of Language and Communication Sciences was chosen among a competitive shortlist of 30 journalists in Ghana for the prestigious fellowship, which is organized by NewsWire Africa.
The program recognizes exceptional journalists reporting on the extractives sector and aims to strengthen media engagement in natural resource governance, transparency, and accountability across Africa.
As part of the year-long fellowship, Yiadom will participate in specialized training, mentorship sessions, and collaborative reporting projects designed to enhance impactful storytelling on Africa’s extractive industries.
The official launch of the Fellowship is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 October 2025,at the Residence of the Australian High Commissioner.
The event will feature distinguished guests from government, civil society, diplomatic missions, and the extractives industry.
